Four Ingredients, All Of Them Working
Most balms in this category add things to make the ingredient list look like skincare. Ours has four items and every one of them has a job. Here is what each does and why nothing else is in there.
The three things people ask before they buy.
What Pet Parents Are Saying
steroids
ointments
lotions
and butters
Most tallow balms sell you air.
Whipping is how a small jar looks generous. It also lets a brand quote fluid ounces instead of weight, so you never quite find out how much balm you bought. Then the jar runs out in three weeks.
We sell it by weight.
Dense, unwhipped, and measured in grams so the comparison is honest. Here is what the rest of the category costs once you price it by what is actually in the jar.
| Jar | Size | Price | Per oz |
|---|---|---|---|
| This one | 100g / 3.53 oz | $32.00 | $9.07 |
| Typical unwhipped balm | 2 oz | $22.95 | $11.48 |
| Anti-aging tallow balm | 1.7 oz | $24.95 | $14.68 |
| Tallow and honey balm | 2 oz | $30.00 | $15.00 |
| Whipped tallow balm | 1.7 oz | $34.95 | $20.56 |
Figures reflect publicly listed prices for comparable products at time of writing. Compared by weight rather than fluid ounces, because volume measurements do not account for whipped air.
One jar, six places it goes.
People buy it for one problem and then find the rest. Here is where it usually ends up.
More balm per dollar than the most expensive jar in the category.
$9.07 an ounce, priced by weight. Whipped balms are measured in fluid ounces, which counts the air.

Compared against typical mass-market moisturizers and whipped tallow balms. Reflects publicly listed formulations and policies at time of writing.
Try the whole jar. Sixty days.
Open it. Use it on your hands, your face, your heels. Work through the jar and give it a real trial, not a patch test on the back of your wrist. If it does not do what you hoped, email us and we will refund you.
That last line is not a throwaway. Brands in this category advertise long guarantees and then require the product to come back sealed in its original wrap, which means the guarantee only covers a jar you never opened. That is not a guarantee, it is a technicality. Ours does not work that way, and the full terms are on the returns page rather than buried in a footer.
You have already spent enough on things that did not work. This one you get to actually test.
Frequently asked questions
Most people get two to three months out of a jar using it daily on their face and hands. If you are using it head to toe, or sharing it with someone in the house, closer to six weeks.
The reason it goes further than you expect is that it is not whipped. There is no air in it, so a pea-sized amount covers a whole face and a fingertip does both hands.
Yes. It is solid at room temperature and firmer in winter or if it has been sitting in a cold delivery van. That is what an unwhipped balm does.
Scrape a small amount with a fingernail and hold it between your fingers for a few seconds. It melts on contact with skin. If your house runs cold, keeping it near where you get dressed rather than in a chilly bathroom helps.
No refrigeration. Keep it out of direct sun and away from a radiator. If it melts in a hot car it is still fine, it will just set again with a grainier texture.
There are no preservatives in it because there is no water in it, and bacteria need water. Use it within about twelve months of opening.
It is four food-grade ingredients with no fragrance, essential oils, preservatives, or emulsifiers, which is why parents tend to find their way to it.
We are not doctors and we are not going to tell you what to put on a child's skin. If your child has a diagnosed condition or is under a doctor's care, ask them first. Patch test a small area either way, as you would with anything new.
There is raw honey and beeswax in it. If you have a known allergy to bee products, this is not the right jar for you.
It also contains beef tallow, so it is not vegan and never will be. We would rather say that plainly than have you find out at the door.
It is a dense balm, so most people prefer it at night and use something lighter in the morning. If you do want it under makeup, use a very small amount and give it five minutes to settle.
It contains no SPF and does not replace sunscreen.

No. One-time purchase is the default and there is nothing pre-checked at checkout to enroll you in anything.
